Roti canai and cendol

Sunday, January 24, 2010

Sebenarnya I tengah malas nak update blog ni, tapi digagahi juga.

So I akan buat spacing besar besar so that nampak macam I banyak tulis...:))

Tengahari tadi my darling wanted to buy meat. So kalau nak cari halal butcher yg buka on Sunday, maka ke Spencer Village lah jawabnya.

Lepas membeli belah daging dan yg sewaktu dengannya, we decided to drop by at the food court next door.

Maka terkejut badak lah I sekejap looking at the atmostphere inside, sebab sebiji macam we were in an Asian country.

Kan? Macam masuk food court dkt Singapore kan? Hari Ahad pula tu and it was meriah sebegini. Nak cari meja kosong pun susah.

We walked around tengok, ada 2 halal stalls, one was a Malay stall and another Indian Muslim stall. Maka we all pun terus meng order rot canai from the mamak stall. Me roti biasa and he roti telur. Rasa macam dkt negara sendiri pula dapat makan roti canai on a Sunday.

Meja sebelah tu order mee mamak Singapore. My darling dok terjeling jeling dah dkt mee tu, he should have ordered that instead of the roti canai sebab memang dia hantu mee mamak Singapore yg kaler Oren tu. Its alright, next time he said. This is better than Malaysia he said, sebab dkt Malaysia pun susah nak cari mee goreng mamak S'pore ni. There's one in USJ  - Victory Arab Street, tapi yg tu fail dia kata.

Kalau dah order makan, mesti lah kena order airkan, nanti kehausan pula makan tanpa minum. I left it to my darling to order his choice of drink and then boleh lah kita share minum -( macam org tengah bercinta yg suka share air segelas  ;) )

He ordered cendol durian.
And sekali lagi I terkejuk badak sebab cendol tu rasa dia sebiji rasa durian. Heh..heh..ye lah kan, nama pun cendol durian, mestilah rasa durian. Tapi I tak sangka sebab memang boleh rasa ke'durian'annya.

Gambar gambar agak kurang memuaskan, snap pakai hp saja sebab tak kan nak bawa DSLR pergi beli dagingkan.:)

Thanks Shaz for the info. Seriously it could be mistaken for one of the foodcourts in malaysia. Spencer Village ni kat mana Shaz

Dilla,
I also like my pink and sweet blog :))

Salina,
We went there coz my hubby nak beli daging bawa balik Msia and his flight was that evening so kelam kabut cari butcher yg buka on Sunday. This place is at Spencer Rd in Thornlie, try google for it. Very near to Thornlie train station. Please check the opening time before you go because its not opened everyday, not sure hari apa tutup.

It's nice to go to places which remind you of home. Cendol durian? this is better than home!

Nice shot of the foodcourt. Itu belum pakai DSLR lagi tu! Need to get one myself. My 399rgt camera is giving up on me. Any suggestions?

Wiz,
I am not that good with cameras. It was my son who's into photography and we bought it for him initially tapi I yg dok pakai banyak now. Ours is canon1000D, and the other popular brand that i know of is nikon. Ha..ha..thats all I can tell, coz that is all the camera knowledge that I have.

Cik Som,
Oh...sekampung le kita ekk...My mum is at USJ 9, takat nak pergi Victory tu, pejam mata jalan kaki pun sampai...heh...heh...kalau ubi kayu tu lagi lah pejam mata merangkak pun sampai...
Tak pernahlah pula I try tepon Victory, actually masa dia baru buka dulu aje we all selalu pergi, sekarang dah jarang (macam lah I ni duduk di Msia kan),now if in USJ we all lagi selalu pergi Geylang Kopitiam..dekat sikit nak jalan. But my kids love old town kopitiam, itupun kekadang I jln kaki saja.

Yeah...long live pink karer...since blog kita sama sama pink ;)
